The T-shirt is worked top-down. First, the yoke is worked in stockinette stitch from the back, over the shoulders, and down the front, shaping the neckline. Every third stitch is dropped, creating a beautiful, open, and light appearance in the yoke. The front and back are joined by picking up stitches along the entire cast-on edge of the back. A row of horizontal stitches is worked to create a smooth transition between the yoke and the body. The body is worked in the round in stockinette stitch and finished with a ribbed edge. Stitches are picked up for the neckline and finished with an i-cord edge. The T-shirt has a light and airy feel, with positive ease of approximately 5-15 cm [2-6 inches].
