Scandinavian knitting design – timeless, modern, handmade
At Fisker Knit, you’ll find a carefully curated collection of knitting patterns that blend Scandinavian knitting design with comfort and creativity. Each design is made to be both wearable and enjoyable to knit – whether you’re searching for a cozy mohair knitting pattern for winter, a light summer tee, or a versatile cardigan for layering. Our collection includes UK- and US-friendly knitting patterns that appeal to knitters around the world.
Knitting patterns for every season and skill level
Our patterns range from oversized mohair sweaters that feel like a warm cloud on the coldest days, to airy tees and playful tops that bring a touch of handmade elegance to summer wardrobes. Jackets with texture, wrap cardigans with clean lines, and eye-catching colourwork sweaters add variety to the collection – ensuring there’s always a project to suit your mood, season, and style.
All designs are written with clear instructions and thoughtful construction, most of them worked top-down so you can easily adjust fit and length as you knit. This makes the patterns just as approachable for adventurous beginners as they are satisfying for experienced knitters. Among my most accessible and beginner-friendly knitting patterns are Woodstock Sweater and Ronja Hood, while patterns like April Jacket and Fisker Sweater feature more advanced and challenging techniques.

Materials & Yarn choices
At Fisker Knit, the choice of yarn is an essential part of the design. Most patterns are worked in natural fibers such as mohair, wool, alpaca, linen, or silk – often held double to create depth, softness, and a rich texture.
This means you’ll find patterns ranging from fluffy mohair sweaters to crisp linen-silk summer tees, warm boucle jackets, and cardigans in Faroese wool blends. Each design suggests recommended yarns from high-quality Nordic brands like Isager, Navia, Onion, Gepard, and Drops, but substitutions are always possible.
